Story
Hi all,
This year we are walking in support of an incredible charity called: Ronald McDonald House Charities. The organisation was born out of an unlikely partnership between a doctor, McDonald’s, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Fred Hill, a player for the Philadelphia Eagles, had a daughter suffering from leukaemia. Since 1989, Ronald McDonald House Charities have supported over 95,000 families from all walks of life, living in the UK or coming from abroad for specialist care. For those families, staying close to their child in hospital receiving care is the number one priority.
On Friday 4 September, 25 members of Lee & Thompson will be embarking on a30 km trek along the Jurassic Coast covering the stretch from Swanage along the south side of the Isle of Purbeck, finishing at Lulworth Cove. The team will be climbing c.1,100m (almost the height of Ben Nevis) along the coastline in aid of this wonderful charity.
Thank you for being a part of this effort for an incredibly important cause.
