The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the John Hunter Childrens Hospital saved his precious grand daughter Ava Ehlefeldt . Ava was born on world prematurity day 17 th November 2020, she was born 3 months earlier & weighed 845 grams 32 cm long . Ava survived because of the care from the Drs & nurses in the NICU in the John Hunter . Ava has shared a very special bond with Jimmy her Pappou & he will be very much missed by her
