Story
On December 9th, my Dad would have turned 65. Sadly, after a short but intense battle with cancer, he passed away, leaving a profound impact on my life and my journey with mental fitness. To honour him on what would have been this milestone birthday, I’m taking on a special challenge to raise funds for Talk Club, an organization close to my heart.
My Dad believed deeply in the power of talking—so much so that every Sunday after dinner, he’d have us sit around the table and share what was on our minds. As kids, we dreaded it, but as an adult, I’m incredibly thankful for those moments. Inspired by his example and my own experiences with CBT and Talk Club, I’m committing to 65 days of fitness in his memory:
65 push-ups
65 sit-ups
65 squats
6.5 minutes of planking
...every single day—including Christmas and New Year’s Day!
This challenge is about resilience, strength, and the importance of mental fitness. Your donation will help Talk Club continue their amazing work, providing safe spaces for men to open up, connect, and support one another.
Together, let’s make a difference. Thank you for your support. 💙
