The money raised will be going to developing the leadership of the youth that take part by funding their ticket for the young lions weekend.

We will be taking part in a challenge where as a group we will be walking 400 miles over 14 days so we can send 22 young leaders to the AOG Young Lions Weekend. This will be an incredible opportunity to support the development and growth of some incredible young leaders.

We have a brilliant group of young people aged between 15-19 years old who have committed to developing and growing themselves by being a part of our young leaders training programme. We meet every month for input and coaching and then each young person practically outworks their training in a volunteer role on a weekly or monthly basis.

As a part of their training throughout the year, a crucial part is the young lions weekend which happens for 1 weekend over 3 years. During this weekend the young people get top class teaching, coaching, challenges and opportunities to really find out what they're made of. We will be taking 20+ youth to Wales where we will gather with many other young leaders from across the country in February to take part in this incredible opportunity. For those who have been before, it has been challenging, eye opening & life changing for them.

Each young person already pays to be a part of the yearly training so to support in the costs of the weekend we want to invite you to be a part of their journey. The ticket to attend the weekend costs £150 per person & our challenge is to raise the money for the whole ticket for every person.
