Build Brighter Futures - Support Our Community LEGO Club

Tim Neobard is raising money for East Essex Hackspace
East Essex Hackspace is a volunteer-run community workshop in Hawkwell near Rochford. We’re a registered charity giving people of all ages access to tools, technology, and shared skills to learn, make, repair, and create together.

Story

We’re launching a Community LEGO Club to give local children and families a creative, welcoming space to build, learn and connect.

First and foremost - we want your lego - just drop it off to the hackspace or contact the trustees on trustees@eehack.space! No need for a monetary donation!

LEGO isn’t just a toy. It develops problem solving, teamwork, engineering thinking and confidence. Through regular sessions, children will design, build and collaborate in a safe, supportive environment led by volunteers.

We want to build a proper shared collection of bricks, baseplates and LEGO Technic so that every child, regardless of background, can take part without needing to own their own sets.

Your donation will help us:

• Purchase bulk LEGO bricks and specialist Technic components

• Provide storage and sorting systems so sessions run smoothly

• Run inclusive sessions that are accessible to all

Every pound helps us turn imagination into opportunity.

Let’s build something amazing together.
