This October, I’ll be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon for The Eve Appeal (the wonderful charity that I work for).

Did you know that everyday in the UK, 60 people will hear the news they have a gynaecological cancer?

The Eve Appeal funds research to advance the prevention and early detection of all five gynae cancers (ovarian, womb, cervical, vaginal and vulval). They educate people about gynae health and they provide free, expert information and advice to anyone who has questions or concerns.

I’ve never taken on a half marathon before and am very quite new to my running journey but I hope by taking on this challenge I can raise vital funds for The Eve Appeal and help spread really important awareness.

As part of my challenge and fundraising, I'll be digging into my most loved, to be read, and want to buy lists of poetry books and selecting 30 books from now until October to read (or reread!) and review. For each book I read and review I'll donate £5 to my page.
