Story

Please support us in our mission to save lives.

For over 23 years, we have dedicated ourselves to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), a charity that stands as a beacon of hope for those in peril at sea.

Leigh has devoted his entire adult life to volunteering as a Helm at Trearddur Bay, whilst Harriet served at Holyhead Lifeboat for 6 years and now coordinates rescues across the UK as a team leader within HM Coastguard.

Throughout our journey, we have been involved in countless rescues, but one incident stands out vividly.

In May 2021, during treacherous conditions with massive breaking seas, a surfer was drowning close to the rocks.

Leigh and the Trearddur Bay Lifeboat crew sprang into action, and it was a moment that tested our resolve and commitment to saving lives. This rescue not only highlighted the incredible training and equipment provided by the RNLI but also instilled in us a profound appreciation for life itself. Sadly, drowning remains an all-too-common tragedy. More than ever, people need the RNLI's unwavering support.

As a charity we are reliant on donations so the RNLI can continue its vital work of saving lives and ensuring safety for everyone at sea.

RNLI volunteers provide 24-hour search and rescue services around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards monitor 240 of the busiest beaches in these regions. Additionally, safety teams work tirelessly to educate and prevent accidents before they happen.

We are participating in the London Marathon on April 26th, 2026, with a target of raising £4,600 to support this essential cause.

This is a massive challenge for us and we urge you to join us in making a difference.

Your contribution can help ensure that more lives are saved and families remain safe from harm. Together, we can empower the RNLI to continue its life-saving mission.
