Story
This summer, the Catertherm team will be taking on two huge challenges – the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the National Three Peaks – all in support of two incredibly important charities: St Francis Hospice and the Newark Children’s Bereavement Centre.
Both organisations provide vital support to people and families during some of life’s most difficult moments. St Francis Hospice delivers compassionate care and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families, while Newark Children’s Bereavement Centre helps children and young people navigate the heartbreak of losing someone they love. The work they do changes lives, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting them.
Over the coming months, three members of the Catertherm team, Tom, Laura and Leigh will be putting in the training miles, climbing hills, and pushing ourselves well outside our comfort zones to complete both challenges. The Yorkshire Three Peaks covers over 24 miles of rugged terrain and more than 5,000 feet of ascent, and the National Three Peaks will see us summit Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.
It’s going to be tough, but knowing we’re doing it for such meaningful causes will keep us moving when the legs start to complain.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help these charities continue the incredible work they do supporting families when they need it most.
Thank you so much for supporting us and cheering the Catertherm team on as we take on the peaks this summer.
