The Leighton Legends (Emily, Conor, Danny, Charlie and Craig) will be embarking on an exciting challenge, the Skiddaw Forest Challenge, on 1st October 2026 to raise funds for the Cumbria Wildlife Trust ⛰️.

This cause means a great deal to us personally. We’ve all spent time enjoying the Lake District – whether walking, exploring, or simply taking in its natural beauty – and it’s a place that has given us lasting memories and a real sense of connection to nature. Being able to protect that environment and ensure it remains just as special for others in the future is something we deeply care about. The thought that these landscapes and the wildlife within them could be at risk makes this challenge feel even more worthwhile.

The Cumbria Wildlife Trust works tirelessly to conserve and restore 41 different nature reserves and cares for a variety of endangered species, such as red squirrels. We want to ensure we can maintain the beautiful landscapes and diverse species that make the region unique. However, but with growing environmental pressures, their efforts are needed now more than ever 🌱.
