Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Harris Cuffaro and Nichols Solicitors in Old Harlow are taking part in the Nuclear Races on 21 September 2024. We are raising money for the Road Victims Trust, a charity dedicated to supporting people who have been affected by the grief and trauma of a road death , serious injury or life changing injury collisions.

George Penney was a local Harlow lad who sadly lost his life in a road traffic accident on 21 July 2024.

George lived life to the fullest, worked hard as a trainee electrician and enjoyed his life with friends and family.

His death was a tragedy and he is missed by many.

We as a firm see many lives affected by road traffic accidents and as a local firm wish to support those affected.

The Road Victims Trust support those who are bereaved, involved in a collision, witnessed a collision and those who are affected by a collision.

Whilst we deal with the legal procedures following a road death or a life changing injury,, we cannot assist with the grief and emotional wellbeing of all those affected. The Road Victims Trust do, however, provide counselling and support to help with the uncertainties of what lies ahead.

We feel this is a way to honour the memory of George and to all other people who have lost people due to a road traffic collisions or are struggling with coming to terms with losing a loved one.

George has left behind a loving family and friends who adored him.

We chose Nuclear Races as it will test us office bodies to the max and for some of us this will be a huge physical challenge. However, there is no challenge greater than having to live on without a son, a brother, a friend or a work colleague who brightened up every room they walked into.

Many people have lost someone who they dearly loved in these circumstances and we hope to bring awareness of the Road Victims Trust who are invaluable to people who need support.

Thank you for reading our page. Any donations are so gratefully received.

Rest in Peace George Penney 06/06/05 - 21/07/24
