Story
At 73, Mum (Rani) is jumping out of a plane to raise money for Myton Hospice - and I (Leila) am joining her for moral support!…& because I’ve inherited her crazy!! 😝💜
When Mum told Dad she wanted to skydive, he reacted, “Aren’t you too old for that?!” - which only made her more determined to experience the thrill of freefall from 14,000ft!!! 😂
Although long retired, Mum volunteers at Myton Hospice in Warwick and consistently says:
“Every single person at the hospice is just brilliant — their warmth, care, and expertise are outstanding.”
Mum says her Christian faith gives her a belief in life after death - but she’s equally passionate about what happens before. During that final stage of life, Myton Hospice provides palliative care, comfort, compassion, kindness & dignity — for both patients and their loved ones. That’s why supporting Myton is so close to her heart. 💕
Myton Hospice is not NHS, they are a charity and just 17% of their funding comes from the NHS.
When asked how much we want to raise, Mum’s replied:
“It’s a skydive… the sky’s the limit!”
However little or much you can give, we’ll be truly grateful. Every single pound helps Myton continue their incredible work supporting patients and families when they need it most.
Thank you so much for your support!
Much love,
Mum & Leila 💜
