In memory of Guy Summerfield

Cycling Lands End to John O’Groats in 12 days · 2 May 2026

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

We’re a group of mates - Chloe, Clara, Robyn, Matt, Myles and Ryan - taking on the Land’s End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) cycle in 12 days. We normally spend our weekends mountain biking, but we’ve decided to challenge ourselves with something a bit different.

Clara’s dad - Guy - did the same challenge with his mates back in 1998. Sadly, Guy was diagnosed with leukaemia and he passed away in 2011.

We are dedicating this ride to Guy, and to anyone else who has lost someone to blood cancer.

Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough.
