Land's End to John O'Groats via the extreme points

‘Something To Look Forward To’ improves the quality of life for cancer patients and their families by providing gifts, experiences, and essentials, helping to relieve the financial burden associated with cancer treatment and allowing those affected to focus on rest, recuperation, wellbeing, and positive memory building.

Story

I'm calling on my friends to help me raise money for a local Cambridge charity focused on improving lives of people and families dealing with cancer.

Cancer is a physical disease but, like any illness, it affects who you are and how you make sense of the world.

A sense of well-being enables people affected by cancer during and after treatment to lead as normal and active lives as possible and it is an integral part of the cancer pathway.

To make it worth your while - apart from feeling good about yourself for donating to an incredible cause of course - I will cycle 2500km in 4 weeks with 25km of climbing using 1 pair of legs!

My route will go from Land's End to John O'Groats via the most southerly, easterly, westerly and northerly points of the British mainland AKA the "extreme points".

But seriously, having this cycling marathon to look forward to was so important for my mental health in recent months. I can't imagine how it feels when you have nothing apart from daily struggles. If we can gift hope to even one person I will consider this a triumph.
