Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Jacquie, Sarah and Adrian are cycling from Land's End to John o'Groats via The Lizard (the most southerly point of mainland England) and Dunnet Head (the most northerly point of mainland Scotland) in September 2025.
As you might know, Jacquie has Multiple Sclerosis and suffered a fairly major relapse in 2021 which left her with no feeling in her legs, thus losing the ability to walk. Not willing to sit back and accept her fate, she has worked hard at recovery over months and months, during the added challenge of COVID.

After what seemed like an endless journey of physiotherapy and incremental gains, the feeling has still not come back, but she is now able to walk with the aid of crutches and has started to rebuild some muscle, just enough in fact to turn the wheels of a bike! Although she can no longer cycle a 2 wheeler, we have found that a trike is possible.

With that in mind, the three of us are setting out to raise money for research into Multiple Sclerosis. Every penny we raise will go directly to the MS Society. No amount is too small. But please, if you can, give generously.

In advance, thank you so much for your donation. It doesn't matter how small, we really appreciate just the fact that you have given something and are supporting the immense effort it will take to cycle over 1000 miles across the length of mainland England and Scotland. Thank you!
