16 Days Strong 2026

Lela Macaire is raising money for Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre

16 Day Movement Challenge

Join us for 16 Days Strong, a fun and accessible virtual movement challenge! Log 16 hours of movement over the 16 Days of Activism (25 November to 10 December) and raise funds for survivors of sexual violence and abuse.

Story

Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre is committed to ensuring no woman or girl subjected to sexual violence has to cope alone.

Right now, they are supporting hundreds of survivors of sexual violence and abuse whose support needs have hugely intensified due to the impacts of the pandemic, cost-of-living crisis, collapse of the Criminal Justice System and severely reduced access to statutory mental health services.

Their life-saving and life-changing services are essential for these women and girls as they struggle to maintain their well-being and capacity to cope during these difficult times.

To show my support and help them ensure they can be there for survivors both now and in the future, I'm taking on the 16 Days Strong Challenge to raise funds to support their crucial work.

Over the 16 Days of Activism (25 November - 10 December) I will be completing 16 hours of physical activity. As part of this, I will attempt to run my longest ever run - 30km, from Cambridge to Ely!

Any and all donations to support me in my challenge will make a huge difference in enabling them to ensure no woman or girl has to cope alone with impacts of sexual violence and abuse.

Thank you!
