The Noah Jordan Foundation Charity Football Match – Plymouth Argyle, 15th May 2026
On 15th May 2026, we’re hosting a charity football match at Plymouth Argyle's stadium, Home Park, in support of The Noah Jordan Foundation, a local charity, and their ‘Our Children’s Legacy campaign’.
This match is about coming together for something that truly matters. POLG mitochondrial disease is a devastating condition that affects children, often striking suddenly and without warning, attacking both the brain and liver. At present, there is no treatment and no cure.
The campaign is raising £100,000 to fund a second three-year PhD at Newcastle University, focusing on why this disease causes sudden liver failure, one of its most severe and least understood effects. This research is vital in moving closer to earlier diagnosis, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure.
This event is deeply personal, with a close connection to Noah’s family, and is being organised to help continue his legacy, turning loss into something that can help save lives in the future.
Football has a way of bringing people together, and that’s exactly what we hope to do here, uniting players, supporters, and the wider community behind a cause that needs us all.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund life-changing research and brings hope to families facing this devastating diagnosis.
If you can, please support in any way you can, donate, share, or come along on the day.
The extinction of Mito, one stomp at a time.
Thank you for your support.
