Story
On this page is a picture of some of the Dolton family, but most importantly Sam (left), my younger brother. We grew up in Bristol spending many nights in the Children's Hospital whilst doctors saw to Sam's struggling heart. It was not a normal childhood but I have now got a healthy brother - a man who is selfless and cares about others the same way the wonderful doctors and nurses cared about him.
I now find myself working for The Grand Appeal who support the very hospital I appreciated growing up. I am taking this exciting opportunity to raise money to help support the amazing work going on at the hospital.
This picture was taken at the 2003 Halloween Party in the Children's Hospital. I remember being so excited to help out with decorating (I had a fascination with climbing at the time and the ceilings weren't going to decorate themselves). I will always remember how accommodating the hospital staff were to our family during these stressful times.
Any amount you can donate will go a long way in helping other children and their families at a time when they need it most.
