In September my dad and I will be taking on the highest mountain in North Africa, Jebel Toubkal and in doing so i am going to be fundraising for the men's mental health charity, Mandem Meet Up.

The Mandem Meet Up is a grass roots promoting, correcting and improving the conversation around men’s mental health and well being. They provide an open, inclusive community for all those who identify as a man, integrating a range of social, holistic and more ‘traditional’ forms of clinical support, ranging from psycho-social interventions and recreational activities, to practical advice and guidance, as well as talking therapy and more.

I am fundraising for them because i believe that men's mental health is majorly under looked and deserves more attention. As well as that i had a friend take their life earlier this year and as much as its saddening for myself i cannot begin to fathom how its affected his family. So i would like to honor him too by doing this Trek up the tallest mountain in North Africa and fundraising this charity.

This climb is about honoring the lives lost, pushing through something tough, and doing it for something bigger than myself. If you can spare anything, please donate - every step i take will be for them, and for everyone fighting battles most of us never see.
