Fundraising for children born with special needs is something I am passionate about and do in my professional life. When I learned of the work of the wonderful charity Building for the Future (BftF), I wanted to get involved.

BftF is a parent-led charity centre for children with additional needs in and around Berkshire, offering activities, support and therapies for both disabled children and their families. BftF are moving to a new state of the art facility on Thames Valley park in the summer. This will be a safe haven where disabled children can relax, have fun and be truly valued and accepted for who they are.

I have managed to corral a few friends of mine into running the Reading Half Marathon with me to help this amazing charity and get them over the line with their facility fundraising target.

We aren't the youngest of spring chickens anymore and the knees arent exactly up to it, therefore please be so kind to dig deep and donate and help myself, Paul and Peter all the way to the finish line! Thanks so much.
