Leon's 100KM Ultra for Suicide Prevention UK

Leon Kirton is raising money for Suicide Prevention UK

Race to the Stones 2026 · 11 July 2026 to 12 July 2026 ·

Suicide Prevention UK offers a freephone crisis helpline for anyone who is struggling, a bereavement service for those left behind navigating loss by suicide and foot patrol teams in SW UK providing in-person support, ensuring nobody faces their toughest hours alone. We are hope in the darkness.

Story

I’m running 100km not just to test my limits - but to stand up for those who are struggling in silence.

Suicide is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. It is the silent cancer of the world.

People aren’t always what they seem.

The strongest person in the room might be fighting the quietest battle.

The happiest smile can hide the heaviest pain.

By supporting me take on this 100km battle, we are together supporting suicide prevention efforts, crisis support and ultimately taking away the stigma of people feeling afraid to talk about their issues.

If this run gets tough, i’ll remember why i started.

For the ones who couldn’t keep going.

For the ones who still are.

Let’s run toward hope - together.
