TRIPLE CHALLENGE · 30 September 2024

Hospiscare provides free and specialised nursing to the terminally ill in Exeter, Mid and East Devon. It looks after more than 700 patients at any one time, supporting patients in their own homes and in its hospice. It relies on the generosity of the community to provide this vital service.

Story

If you live in Exeter, Mid or East Devon, Hospiscare is your local adult hospice charity. Should you or a loved one need care for any type of terminal illness, our professional team of doctors and nurses are here to help. Our services are provided irrespective of race, religion, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, diagnosis or place of national origin.

Support funds + good practice= excellent care.

the situation now facing Hospiscare is :-

£2.5 million shortfall + good practice= excellent care but reduced service.

Every life is precious, from the moment a newborn baby's eyes open, to the seconds before a life closes.

I am challenging my 86 year old body to complete triple events to support Hospiscare. They are:

Men's Walk Exeter 9th of March 2024 slow jog of 7 miles.

Windsor 50k trek 6th of April 2024

Jordan, two back to back 50k desert treks 25th /26th of April

Every donation will inspire and focus me in completing this triple adventure, enabling others the solid support that I experienced up to and after Christine's passing.

I am self funding these events, all donations will go to Hospiscare.

Thank you
