Leon's Snowdon trek fundraiser for Friends of Clinks Care Farm

Trekking up Snowdon · 25 July 2024
Hi, I'm Leon, and I've been attending Clinks Care Farm for over 11 years. As someone on the autism spectrum, I've found solace, purpose, and joy in the welcoming environment of the farm. Over the years, I've not only learned to care for the pigs, goats, and sheep, but I've also had the opportunity to expand my horizons by learning to drive tractors and mastering new skills in farming. Beyond the practical skills, the farm has taught me invaluable lessons about friendship, community, and the beauty of nature.
On July 25th (Depending upon the weather) I'm taking on the challenge of trekking up Snowdon to raise funds for this incredible place that has been such an important part of my life. Every step I take up that mountain is fueled by gratitude and determination to give back to a community that has given me so much. Your support means the world to me and to the farm. Together, let's make a difference!
Clinks Care Farm is a 143 acre working farm. The Friends of Clinks Care Farm help provide funds for much needed practical items to ensure the best outcomes can be achieved. In the past such items have included a new state of the art chicken shed, Boer goats to create a new herd, computers, a contribution to the future extension to the Log Cabin and kitchen area. We are continually needing new equipment and infrastructure to ensure Clinks Care Farm expands and develops to keep pace with changing trends and opportunities. PLEASE SUPPORT US!
