Story

Hello,

Leo Braschi is going to participate in the Dorset walk with school and would like to try and raise some money for the Malcolm Whales Foundation charity (TMWF). Please sponsor him if you can, he would really appreciate it and so would the charity.

Over the last 24 months TMWF has been fundraising for Malcolm’s Retreat in Pidley, Cambridgeshire. This is a holiday home offering Respite Breaks for families affected by Cancer.

The Dorset Walk is a annual event that involves walking 40 miles along the challenging terrain of the Jurassic Coast. The walk starts along the seafront at Weymouth on Friday and finishes at Studland Beach on Sunday.

The Dorset walk started in 2009 with 30 students and staff from Ely College. It was going to be a one off.

However, what we stumbled on was something quite special. Over a 15 years later and thousands of participants later. It has become an annual event that introduces and impacts on hundreds people each year.

The Malcolm Whales Foundation is a fundraising cancer charity in memory of Malcolm Whales.

Following his death in 2008, to honor Malcolm’s memory, Damien his son set out to create a legacy in his name.
