Story
I'm on a mission to raise £5,000 for the Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF), a charity dedicated to funding life-saving research, raising awareness, and supporting those affected by meningitis and septicemia. MRF’s work is crucial in preventing these devastating diseases and ensuring better treatment for those impacted.
To support this incredible cause, I'm taking on the challenge of climbing 5,895m to the roof of Africa - Mount Kilimanjaro - pushing myself to new limits to help make a real difference.
Every donation brings us one step closer to saving lives - thank you for your support!

About MRF
MRF is dedicated to preventing meningitis and septicaemia, supporting those affected, and funding life-saving research.
In 2019, bacterial meningitis caused an estimated 236,000 deaths worldwide, with 2.5 million new cases reported. The disease is particularly dangerous for children under five, but students are the second most at risk group.
What does MRF do?
1) Fund research into prevention, detection and treatment.
2) Raise awareness of the signs and symptoms.
3) Provide support to people affected.
4) Track the patterns of the disease.
Your donation
Your donation will support MRF by funding vital research, prevention efforts and increase access to life-saving vaccines. Your contribution will help achieve MRF's goal to defeat Meningitis by 2030.

Thank you, I appreciate every donation.
