I’m running 26 miles round the islands of the Isles of Scilly as part of the Scilly 60%. Along with 150 others, I’m running all 5 inhabited islands in one day. This race has strict cutoffs on each island or you miss the boat, so that’s my challenge, run at the right pace then get off the boat and run again, 5 times!

Yesterday was race day I beat the clock on all the islands so got to finish. All completed in 5 hours 28. The day was hot to start with but once the fog had rolled in and out on was just muggy. The running was tricky and the camaraderie built up on the boats between islands was amazing. A fabulous day.
