Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Saturday 18th July, the two of us (Lesley Walker and Roxy Sheeley), are sleeping out in the open sky, under the stars, come rain or shine on Sea Lion Rocks at Groudle Glen!
No tent, just us and our sleeping bags with whatever mother nature brings for us - all for an incredible cause that is close to our hearts.
We are raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Now Volunteering Isle of Man (IOM Registered Charity No. 1200 / England and Wales Registered Charity No. 1160558).
Having lost and seen too many people effected by this cruel disease, breast cancer research has never been so important.
Did you know:
- 1 in 7 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
- 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed EVERY YEAR.
- And, 11,500 women and 90 men LOSE THEIR LIVES each year — that’s one person every 45 minutes.
Enough is enough! This is why we want to help Breast Cancer Now achieve their goal: that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live, and live well.
By donating, you are directly funding the science that saves the lives of people - people that could be your loved ones, family or friends.
Please support us by donating - any donation, big or small, is truly appreciated and could make the difference to someones diagnosis, treatment and even life.
Thank you so much for your support!
