Help us support Harry’s HAT 💙 ( Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust)
Every year, around 1 in 770 babies will develop hydrocephalus. There is currently no cure, and managing the condition often involves surgical intervention. Early diagnosis can make a real difference to a child’s future.
We never imagined that hydrocephalus would become something our family would have to face and it was terrifying when Casey was given the diagnosis of this potentially fatal condition. Suddenly life becomes about hospitals, scans, medical decisions and surgeries. Uncertainty is now part of family life.
That’s why Harry’s HAT is so important to us.
They support families from the moment of diagnosis and throughout the ongoing management of hydrocephalus, providing clear, accessible information without complicated medical jargon.
They also work to raise awareness, campaign for earlier diagnosis and better treatment, and connect families, so that no one has to face hydrocephalus alone.
I am fundraising to help Harry’s HAT continue this vital work — on Saturday 24th October I’ll be pushing myself physically and mentally by doing 4 hours of Combat led by the fitness team in Bannatynes Skem.
Please donate and help us support Harry’s HAT. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help raise awareness, support families and help change futures for children affected by hydrocephalus 💙
