My Chosen charity for my Lady Captains year is Embrace 'previously BDCPS'. This page will be open for donations across all the activities I am organising in 2024.

I chose this charity as our friends Sherry & Terry Nicholls son, William, was born with a rare condition called MECP2 which left him unable to talk, walk or eat normally. William lived a full life until his condition deteriorated in Nov 23, and he sadly lost his battle.

Throughout Wills short life he was supported by the wonderful charity now known as Embrace. They support people with complex disabilities by providing safe activities so they can bloom. They also support their parents, carers & any siblings with emotional and practical support.

For 70 years Embrace has been supporting families to live life their way, and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for helping me raise vital funds so they can continue the amazing work they do.
