I am running my first marathon in Edinburgh on may the 25th, 2025.

My aim is to raise £1000 for 'My names Doddie 5 Foundation' [https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/].

The charity raises money for Motor Neurone's Disease, a muscle wasting disease that is terminal and, as yet has no cure.

The reason for this is that I spoke to Doddie in 2020 about the disease whilst writing an academic chapter.

I then promised I would raise money for his charity [under my own duress], because he'd been such an inspiring guy to talk to.

Anyway, i'm aiming for £1000. If you can afford anything please give. If you can't please add to your social media.
