Story
I’m proud to be running the London Marathon in support of RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) in memory of my granny, Jennifer.
She was a passionate lifelong ambassador for the charity and served as the chairwoman for RDA London, receiving recognition for her contributions to the world of charity.
Training is going well so far – although I’ve never run further than 21k in my life! With five weeks to go, still got plenty of time to double that distance and cross the finish line.
Would really appreciate support on the day, so please add 26th April to your diaries to shout at me at some point along the route.
RDA is a UK-based charity that has been transforming lives for over 50 years. Through horse riding, carriage driving, and equine therapy, RDA provides life-changing opportunities for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities.
With the support of 18,000 volunteers across the country, RDA empowers individuals to achieve their goals and discover new strengths, all while fostering a sense of community and belonging. Whether it’s learning to ride, connecting with horses, or simply enjoying the moment, RDA makes a tangible difference in the lives of those they support.
