***Levi's Journey***

Amidst Covid, with our folks, we stayed, A test revealed we carried a rare disease, dismayed.

IVF was our choice, though uncertain and queasy,

Blood tests needed from all, including parents, easy-peasy.

Two rounds of IVF, both ended in despair, We took a break in Dubai, our spirits to repair.

But then came two miscarriages, heart-wrenching and sad,

We refused to give up, a decision that we had.

We tried again, and this time, it worked, Our hearts overflowing, our spirits rekindled and perked.

But the wait for the CVS test was nerve-wracking and long,

The results finally arrived, and we burst into song.

Our baby was healthy, not even a carrier,

A miracle, a blessing, a moment to savour. But the journey ahead was filled with anxious scares,

We were closely monitored, with love and care.

An elective cesarean was planned and in sight,

But things took a turn, and it became a scary fight.

A placental abruption, no time to wait,

An emergency c-section, to bring mummy and baby to a safe state.

The staff were exceptional, calm and reassuring,

Our experience traumatic, yet also reassuring.

And then, a cry, a moment to cherish and behold,

Our son, Levi Blake Fox, our love story retold.

Despite the struggles and the pain we went through,

Our little Levi made everything feel so brand new.

For those facing a difficult journey, a message of hope,

Never give up, keep pushing, and never lose sight of your scope.
