It's the Brussels 20K again! Join us in supporting The Giraffe Project, a charity which has helped build and run three schools for children in the slums of Nairobi. Levke has supported Giraffe since its founding in 2006 by two former teachers at the European Schools in Brussels. Peter joined her later, as he was so impressed by all the achievements the project has had over the years, including building a second primary school and then a secondary school. A number of the Giraffe children have gone on to college, an incredible achievement for someone from the poorest parts of the city. Having also sponsored several individual students, we have had a real opportunity to watch them grow. The Giraffe Project brings a very real, and meaningful, improvement in the lives of these young students, and we hope you can help us help them. This will be Levke's fourth 20K for Giraffe; Peter's second. While she ran the first two, considering our aging knees we will walk (fast) this time.
