Port of Leith Distillery Abseil (9th May 2026)

Lewis Connor is raising money for Cruse Scotland (Bereavement Support)
In memory of Morgan and Daniel Connor
We offer hope when the future seems empty. It doesn't matter the relationship or how recent or long ago the death occurred - we are here for children, young people and adults all across Scotland, who are unable to imagine life without their loved one. No one should struggle alone.

Story

On the 9th of May I’ll be (attempting!) an abseil from the tallest distillery in Scotland at the Port of Leith. This is very much outside my comfort zone.

I’m doing this in memory of my dad and my sister Morgan, who both passed away last year due to cancer.

Heights have never been my thing, which feels ironic considering my dad was a pylon engineer and spent his working life happily up them. Morgan was young, carefree, and definitely the sort of person who would have talked me into doing something like this!

By taking this on, I want to raise both funds and awareness for Cruse Scotland, who provide vital, compassionate support to anyone affected by bereavement.

I’ll be sharing photos and updates as I prepare, and on the day itself.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
