I have been fortunate enough to have been granted a late spot in an already sold out event for the Rotherham Hospital charity this coming Sunday at the Wickersley 10k - for which I am very grateful.

I am very much of the mindset that if I can use myself and I am capable of achieving something for the good of charity, then why not.

I feel excited and apprehensive at the same time.

Generous colleagues, volunteers and fundraisers have been supporting the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity for 20 years – and we need your help now more than ever!

The charity (Ref: 1054407) raises money to enhance the care patients and their families receive in the community and at Rotherham Hospital.

With support from colleagues, members of the public, fundraisers and volunteers the charity raises money to help fund the added extras which really make a difference to thousands of patients every year.
