I recently ran with a friend who decided to take on a challenge in aid of preventing suicide called 500 miles for 500 lives.

While on the way back we spoke about combining two interests of mine, football and running, & came up with the idea of adding up all of the distances from Ashton gate stadium as the crow flies to each away stadium which totals 2551 miles. (4105 kilometres) and run the distance over the course of the football season. (266 days)

I’ve decided to do this in aid of raising money for the Miscarraige Association as it’s something that unfortunately within my family we’ve suffered from this horrible and heart breaking experience 3 times in the past few years.

Every year in the UK, an estimated 250,000 pregnancies end through miscarriage, making it the most common complication of pregnancy experienced by an estimated 1 in 5 women.
