Taking on Two 100km Challenges in Memory of My Brother, Luke
At the start of May, I turned 33 — the same age my brother was when we lost him. Reaching this age has brought with it a wave of emotion, reflection, and a renewed determination to honour his memory again.
In June, I’ll be taking on the Cotswold Way 100km continuous walk, followed by the Thames Path 100km continuous walk in September. These are no small feats — especially after I struggled and didn’t finish the Cotswold Way two years ago. That failure has stuck with me, but it’s also motivated me. This time, I’m coming back stronger, fitter, and more focused than ever.
Turning 33 has been a mental milestone, and it’s pushed me to commit to becoming the healthiest and fittest version of myself. These walks aren’t just physical challenges; they’re personal ones too — steps forward in grief, in healing, and in honour of Luke’s spirit.
Your support means everything. Whether it’s words of encouragement, a donation, or simply sharing this page — it all helps. Every step I take will be with Luke in mind, and with the hope that together, we can make a positive impact in his name.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Let’s make Luke proud.
