Kilimanjaro Trek 2024 - Amnesty UK · 29 August 2024 to 7 September 2024 ·

A team of students at the University of Sheffield will be raising money for Amnesty International and preparing to trek Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, in 2025

Story

This August I will be climbing the tallest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, in aid of Amnesty International UK. Although I'll be facing extreme temperatures, altitudes and terrain over the course of 9 days, these challenges pale in comparison to some of the hardships people all over the world are facing.

Your donations will help Amnesty International UK expose human rights abuses in the UK and all over the world and to campaign for freedom and justice. Amnesty International UK work on a wide range of issues including women's rights, refugee rights, the human rights impact of climate change and in support of individuals whose rights have been violated.
