Shortly after Lexs 8th birthday he became unwell following a rugby tournament. At first we just thought it was the heat from the day, the following day the Dr had Lex rushed to hospital and this is when his diabetes journey began.

T1D affects every aspect of Lexs day to day life, but he does not let that stop him 💪

He has chose to raise money for JDRF because of the vital research they do, they also gave him a teddy when he was diagnosed showing injection areas, which he still has to this day.

Lex now has long hair (past his shoulders) which he is going to shave off to raise money for JDRF.
