Our grandmother, the heart and soul of our family is a living testament to a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. But now, she faces a challenge that touches countless families across the world.

We have witnessed the slow erosion of the memories that define her vibrant personality. It's heartbreaking to see her struggle with daily tasks and lose touch with her own history.

Our family , my sisters and children specifically,  are on a mini mission to raise funds for dementia research and caregiving support, in honor of our nan /great grandmother and great great grandmother ❤️

We believe that every penny counts.

The target is set at £95 as that is her amazing age 🙏🏼What we raise, during this 30 miles in 30 days September challenge , no matter how small can bring us one step closer to a world where dementia no longer robs families of their loved ones' memories.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
