Story
I am lucky enough to have been taught to swim from an early age and have an absolute love of the water that has stayed with me all if my life. My wonderful husband, Jeremy, who died suddenly 3 years ago, also loved a swim especially in open water.
This year, I am hoping to complete 2 swims in Jeremy's memory. A 6 km Devon sea and river swim in July followed by the iconic 15 km, 2 day endurance swim around The Isles of Scilly in September.
Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim. Afterall, it is the only sport that can save your life!
Sadly, in the UK, access to swimming is not universal and children with disabilities often miss out.
At Level Water, they use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities; a donation of £15 will allow for a specialist 1-2-1 lesson.
