2026 is the year that Our Space turned 10 and to celebrate this big anniversary the Charity has planned a year of fundraising and other events.

This sponsored abseil from Millers Dale Bridge is their main fundraising event of the year. I'm taking part in this along with a number of other people in September, hoping to raise lots of money for an amazing charity.

It costs Our Space in the region of £140,000 a year to provide its vital service for children and adults with disabilities and their families and every penny raised from this event really will make a huge difference. Our Space provides an incredible service to anyone who needs them and their work really makes life better for anyone with a disability, or anyone connected to someone who has a disability.

Having grown up with a disability, it is so important to be around people who understand the challenges, and to socialise with people who know what it is like to have a condition. Our Space provides that in a fun, friendly, and welcoming way.
