As someone who enjoys the occasional park run, I never imagined I would take on a challenge like a half marathon. However, as the new year approaches, I feel compelled to push my limits and raise funds for a cause that is close to my heart: the NoToDogMeat Foundation.

This organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from horrific conditions in China, particularly during the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. Here, countless animals are captured, confined in small cages, and subjected to unimaginable suffering. The foundation not only works tirelessly to rescue these innocent creatures but also strives to educate local communities about compassion and humane treatment of animals.

My goal is to raise £500 to support their vital work. Every penny will go towards helping dogs and cats in desperate need and raising awareness about this cruelty.
