Story

** This next challenge we are going bigger and better. We are running coast to coast. Starting at Whitehaven and finishing in Tynemouth. This is a 201km (125 mile) run which we aim to complete within 36 hours. **

We are starting this page to raise £10.000 towards the Manchester Foundation Trust and Wythenshawe Hospital.

A message from Ben:

“What’s happening, people?

Liam and I are going to raise a minimum of £10,000 for the Manchester Foundation Trust, along with Wythenshawe Hospital.

Two years ago, I was critically ill with Pancreatitis and spent just over 5 months in hospital, 3 of which were in an induced coma. The staff and specialist machines saved my life and will always have a special place in my heart.

We are going to be hitting it hard over the coming months, starting over the next 3 days running 300km in the Lake District.

it is time to show how grateful I am and it’s time to pay the debts. The hard work starts here… Let’s go people!.”

We plan to do a series of events over the next year to lead up to our big one next year .... Mt Kilimanjaro.

As most of you might know, Ben was very unwell with pancreatitis, and the medical staff did not think he would pull through.

After being on life support machines (ECMO) and having many surgeries, with his sheer determination, will and support from his family and friends, he has made a miraculous recovery.

Not only that but he has changed his life for the better. We hope we can inspire others to not only become better versions of themselves but also to do something incredible.

By donating and supporting this cause, you will change the future for other people like Ben, making a difference and providing the funds needed to keep their family members and best friends alive to give them another opportunity to make things right.

Any donation is greatly appreciated in these tough times and all the support is welcomed.

After all, life is too short.

It's time to pay the debts.

Manchester Foundation Trust Charity's aim is to raise funds to enhance the services we provide and the care that we give to patients, young and old, cared for by our family of NHS Manchester hospitals. Your support today will make a real difference
