I’m excited to be running in the London Marathon 2025 to raise much needed money for Sebastian’s Action Trust. They are an incredible charity that give invaluable support to children with life-limiting conditions and allow them to make special memories with their families and enjoy quality time together.

Sebastian’s Action Trust has been a huge blessing and support to us as a family since Ollie’s arrival. The Bluebells, their purpose built facility just outside of Basingstoke, enabled us to have our very first break away as a family. Their specially adapted apartments cater for all of Ollie’s medical and mobility needs and allow us to have a much needed rest and enjoy family time together, which is so hard to find elsewhere. The Bluebells also has incredible facilities that give us the opportunity to relax in an environment that works for Ollie, whether that be the hydrotherapy pool, the sensory room or the wheelchair accessible playground. Ollie feels at home at the Bluebells and screams with joy each time when we arrive at the front doors. He adores rocking back and forth on the accessible swing in the garden, marching around in his walker and lying on a special float in the hydro pool. It is a place that holds many special memories in our hearts, and we are just one of a number of families who would say this.

It’s so special for us, that despite all of Ollie’s complexities and challenges, he can thrive in activities and events that Sebastian’s Action Trust put on, whether that be their Lego Day, Christmas in July or sensory sessions. The staff at SAT provide wonderful care and support and go the extra mile to help us as we journey through life looking after Ollie.

Please dig deep to support the work of Sebastian’s Action Trust and help them to continue to provide such an incredible service to seriously-ill children and their families. Training for a marathon whilst looking after Ollie has already meant a few early starts, but the 5am alarms are worth it for a charity so close to our hearts.
