Story

The team at Clinical Research Hub have saved my life. During a trial, my nurse spotted serious underlying issues and made sure I got the right treatment required. Because of this, the progression of my kidney has slowed down dramatically to the point where it’s remained steady during the past 12 months

They urgently need an ECG machine to detect any heart defects or heart disease in patients with chronic illness which enables them to give the correct diagnosis and treatment . This vital equipment could change — and even save — lives. Not just on a local scale, but nationally and globally

To help the department raise funds, I’m taking on a 10-mile walk. For me, this is a huge challenge, but one I’m determined to complete 💚

Please donate whatever you can to help give others the same chance I’ve had. Every step I take, and every pound you give, brings us closer to saving lives.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Charity is the official charity which supports Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital to go above and beyond by providing additional equipment, services and amenities for our patients, visitors and staff which cannot be funded by the NHS alone.
