Story
Myself and a few family members will be undertaking the seven sisters walk and the hastings to rye walk along the Sussex coast to raise money for St. Barnabas Hospice. This walk is about 22 miles and we hope to complete it in one day (with a short train from Eastbourne to Hastings inbetween the two)
My uncle Andy received great love, care and support from St. Barnabas during the latter stages of his life, for that we will be eternally grateful. I would like to ensure that others are able to benefit from that fantastic support network with any money raised from this project. It's been a year since he passed and though his passing will never get any easier, giving something back as part of his legacy feels like a nice tradition to have in his memory.
Cancer sucks, it does not discriminate, it takes the lives of great people. Anyone who has the misfortune to go through something like that should be supported in the best possible way in the latter stages of their life.
