For a week, I will be volunteering in Morocco supporting the wonderful work the Dental Mavericks team do, followed by a trek up the wonderful and (for me!) challenging Mount Toubkal. Any support, no matter how small, will be well received.

Run by volunteers, the work Dental Mavericks do is pain relief, mainly emergency tooth extraction and some restorative work, together with oral hygiene education and fluoride programmes for people and children who need it most. Many of these communities still live in tents following the devastating earthquake in September last year. They also empower these communities to work alongside them and help with sustainable projects for the longer term.
