Story
This September, I’ll be taking part in the Walk for Myton in memory of my wonderful Nanna - a woman whose love, strength, and kindness shaped who I am today. I’m doing this in support of The Myton Hospices, a charity that provides compassionate end-of-life care and supported my Nanna and so many other families during their most difficult times.
The Myton Hospices focus on enhancing life when a cure is no longer possible - offering comfort, dignity, and support to patients with terminal illnesses and their loved ones from diagnosis right through to end of life. Their work is rooted in compassion and dignity, and they help families make the most of every precious moment together.
Importantly, Myton is not part of the NHS - it’s a charity, and only 17% of its funding comes from the NHS. This year alone, they need to raise £11 million to keep their vital services running.
If you’re able, I’d be so grateful for any donation you can make to support this incredible cause and honour my Nanna’s memory.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
