Story

I will be running the Middlesbrough half marathon to try and raise funds for the neonatal unit at James Cook University Hospital. My daughter Amelia, 8, will also be running in the junior event.

My son Finlay is currently in the neonatal unit after being born 11 weeks early, weighing just 1lb 7oz, and with Down’s syndrome. The staff on the ward have been simply amazing, and without them Fin wouldn’t be doing as well as he is so far. They have also looked after Finlay’s Mam, Ami, brilliantly too.

Any funds raised will go directly to the neonatal unit, to go towards new equipment to help the staff continue to perform the miracles they are doing every day.

Anything you could spare for this amazing unit would be greatly appreciated by Ami and myself.

Thank you.
