Several people known to me, some of whom are friends, parents, relatives of people in our school community, have suffered or are suffering from brain tumours. St. Mary's School, Melrose is supporting Brain Tumour Research with a fundraising event in April. I am at a conference that day, so running the Dublin Marathon is my way of doing my bit for our community cause.

Brain Tumour Research are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
